How We Pick Deals

Every deal grid on this site is built from Amazon's product data, not typed in by hand. Here is exactly what happens.

Where The Products Come From

For each category or brand page we run searches against Amazon's catalog for the products people search for most in that category. Our keyword research covered Black Friday searches across the US, which is why the TV page searches for TVs, OLED TVs and large-screen sets, for example.

How Deals Are Ranked

Products that Amazon currently shows with a saving come first. A saving only counts when Amazon reports a reference price: either the list price or the was price, which we label as such on the card. Products without a current saving can still appear lower on a page when there are not enough discounted ones, so the page always shows the real options.

Brand pages keep only products whose title or brand matches that brand. If Amazon does not stock enough of a brand, the page is not published.

How Fresh The Prices Are

Prices are refreshed daily. Each grid shows the date and time of the last check. Amazon's price at the moment you buy is the one that applies, and deals can sell out or end early.
