PS5 Black Friday Deals

Which PS5 Should You Buy?

Start with the edition. The Disc Edition plays physical games and Blu-ray discs, while the Digital Edition does not have a drive. The slim design is the current hardware. Disc console listings from Sony sit next to third-party sellers offering upgraded storage bundles with Spider-Man titles and 2TB or 3TB drives.

Bundles can be fair value if the game is one you want, but third-party storage upgrades are not made by Sony, so look at warranty terms. A renewed PS5 Slim with 1TB is cheaper and used. Game titles on the page include NBA 2K27, Crimson Desert, Star Wars Zero Company and Marvel's Wolverine.

Today 4 of 12 listed items are marked down. Games such as Sonic Racing CrossWorlds and Clair Obscur Expedition 33 also appear, but they are games, not consoles.

Storage is the practical limit on any console. Modern games are large, and the base PS5 fills quickly, which is why upgraded bundles with bigger drives exist. Sony supports adding a compatible M.2 drive yourself, so a larger bundle is not the only route. The controller is another consideration: a second DualSense makes local multiplayer easy. Compare the console-only price with the bundle price, then add the game you would have bought anyway to see whether the bundle truly saves money.

When Do PS5 Deals Drop?

Black Friday lands on November 27, 2026, with Thanksgiving on November 26 and Cyber Monday on November 30. Amazon has not announced its 2026 event dates. Last year its Black Friday Week ran from November 20 to December 1, opening at 12:01 a.m. PT, so a similar window is likely.

Console deals often come as bundles. For wider options, see PlayStation deals. Best Buy's main sale runs November 19 to 28, Walmart's November 23 to 29, and Amazon does not price-match them.
