Keen Black Friday Deals

Which Keen Should You Buy?

Keen's range here splits into trail, water and work footwear.

• Targhee: waterproof hiking boots and shoes in mid and low heights, in the 2, 3 and 4 generations.
• Newport: closed-toe water sandals.
• Jasper Zionic: an approach shoe for climbing trails.
• Utility: Lansing steel toe and Gibson carbon-fiber toe work boots.
• Austin: a leather oxford for casual wear.

Work boots have safety toes, so check that the toe type meets your job's requirement. Newer Targhee versions are the better value if a markdown narrows the gap.

Keen's toe-protecting shape is a signature, and the Newport is a closed-toe sandal that handles water. The work boots are a different buyer: steel or carbon-fiber toe choices change weight. Anyone planning a black friday keen purchase should confirm the exact model year, since Targhee 2, 3 and 4 are different generations.

Heel height and weight differ across the lineup, so a low Targhee suits day hikes while the mid boots add ankle coverage for wet or uneven ground. The Austin oxford is a dressier option, and the Targhee slip-on mule is a casual one. Color and size are priced separately on Amazon, so one variant can be marked down when others are not.

When Do Keen Deals Drop?

Black Friday is on November 27, 2026, and Cyber Monday on November 30. Amazon has not shared its own sale dates yet. Work boots may be a tax-deductible or employer-reimbursed expense for some, so keep the receipt.
