Which Milwaukee Should You Buy?

Two platforms appear on this page. M18 is the full-size 18-volt line: the M18 Fuel high-torque half-inch impact wrench, the compact 3/8-inch impact wrench, the Hackzall reciprocating saw, the cut-out tool and the 6-tool combo kit. M12 is the compact 12-volt line, represented by the stubby 3/8-inch impact wrench. Batteries do not cross between M12 and M18, so pick one platform and stay in it.

Words like 'bare tool' and 'tool only' mean no battery and no charger. The 6-tool combo is the strongest start for a new owner. The pen light, the Fastback folding knife and the M4 screwdriver kit are inexpensive add-ons for tool bags.

For automotive work, the half-inch high-torque wrench is for stuck lug nuts and suspension bolts, while the compact 3/8-inch and M12 stubby models fit tighter spaces with less torque. For general carpentry or remodeling, the Hackzall and the cut-out tool earn their place more than another impact wrench.

When Do Milwaukee Deals Drop?

Black Friday 2026 is Friday, November 27, and Cyber Monday is November 30. Amazon has not announced its 2026 event dates, though its 2025 Black Friday Week ran from November 20 to December 1. If it repeats that pattern, expect tool deals to build across the week before Thanksgiving.
