Which Nintendo Switch 2 Should You Buy?

Two console configurations show up: the standalone Nintendo Switch 2 System and the Mario Kart World bundles. One bundle includes a three-month Nintendo Switch Online Individual Membership, and another adds an HDMI cable and a screen cleaning cloth. A bundle is only a saving if you wanted the game.

Game listings include Pokémon Pokopia, Resident Evil Requiem Amazon Exclusive Edition, Madden NFL 27, DRAGON QUEST I & II HD-2D Remake, Cronos, Orbitals and SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide. Check that each is labeled for Switch 2, not the original Switch.

Right now 6 of 12 items are discounted. A renewed Switch 2 System also appears, so check its condition grade.

Storage and accessories deserve a thought. Switch 2 games come on cartridges or as downloads, and the console has limited built-in storage, so heavy downloaders may want a compatible memory card. Second controllers are worth considering for multiplayer titles like Mario Kart World. Digital downloads and physical copies can differ in price, so compare both. For gifts, confirm that the game says Nintendo Switch 2 in the title, which avoids a mix-up with original Switch software.

When Do Nintendo Switch 2 Deals Drop?

Black Friday is Friday, November 27, 2026, with Cyber Monday on November 30. Amazon has not announced its 2026 dates. Last year its Black Friday Week ran November 20 to December 1 starting 12:01 a.m. PT, so a similar window may repeat.

Nintendo hardware is discounted less than most consoles, so bundles and games are often where you find the saving. Check the broader Nintendo Switch deals page too. Walmart's main deals run November 23 to 29, Target's early sale November 5 to 7, and Amazon does not price-match.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Mario Kart World bundle worth it?

If you want the game, it can cost less than buying the console and the game separately. Compare the live prices.

Do original Switch games work on Switch 2?

Check the game listing and Nintendo's compatibility information. Many original Switch games are playable, but verify before buying.

Is the NSO membership included?

Only in the bundle that says so. Look for the three-month Individual Membership note.
