For 2026, a report dated November 1 says no sale had been announced yet and standard lifetime prices were still showing, with a sale expected in mid-to-late November based on past patterns.

• Lifetime or annual: a one-time payment beats subscriptions only if you keep using it for several years.
• Capacity: pick the size you will need in three years, not today, since upgrading later costs more.
