Xbox Game Pass Black Friday Deals

What Did Xbox Game Pass Offer Last Black Friday?

In 2025 Xbox offered new subscribers $1 for one month of Game Pass Essential, or 14 days of Game Pass Premium. Standard pricing applied after the trial.

This was part of the broader Black Friday sale, which ran from about November 20 through early December 2025. Alongside it ran game discounts of up to 75% off titles, which were a separate offer.

Searching xbox game pass black friday deals therefore turns up a trial, not a lasting price cut, and it was limited to new subscribers.

How To Pick The Right Game Pass Deal

Choose the tier by what you play. Essential is the entry level, while Premium adds more games and benefits. The offer gave you one month of one or two weeks of the other, so pick the one that matches your library.

Be honest about the time you have. A month of Essential for $1 is plenty for a short test. Fourteen days of Premium is tight if you want to try several games.

Compare against buying titles. The separate game sale offered discounts up to 75%, and for a single title you want to own, buying it can beat renting through a subscription.

Remember the sale is for new subscribers only. Returning accounts will likely see only the normal price.

When Do Xbox Game Pass Deals Drop?

Xbox has not announced 2026 Black Friday details. Black Friday falls on Friday, November 27, 2026, the day after Thanksgiving on November 26, and Cyber Monday follows on Monday, November 30. Last year's sale started about a week before Thanksgiving and ran into December.
