Last year Apple TV Plus ran a Black Friday deal at $5.99 a month for six months, compared with the regular $12.99 a month. That is more than 50% off for new and qualified returning subscribers, meaning people without an active subscription in the prior 30 days.

It ran from November 21 to December 1, 2025, with some reports saying through December 1.

The conditions mattered. You had to subscribe directly through Apple, either at tv.apple.com or in the Apple TV app. The offer was not available to subscribers billed through third parties or to people eligible for free months with a device purchase.

Check how you would subscribe. A deal that only works through Apple means skipping the cheaper-looking add-on routes from other services. If you pay for Apple TV Plus through a carrier or another provider, that account will not qualify.

Look at device offers first. If you recently bought an Apple device, you may already have free months, and the sale was not available to those eligible for them. Using the free months first, then buying later, can save more.

Apple has not announced 2026 Black Friday pricing. Black Friday falls on Friday, November 27, 2026, the day after Thanksgiving on November 26, and Cyber Monday follows on Monday, November 30. Last year's offer started on Friday, November 21, about a week ahead of the holiday.
