Black Friday Warhammer And Model Kit Deals

What Counts As A Real Black Friday Warhammer And Model Kit Deal?

Games Workshop holds prices tight, so a discount on a Warhammer box set is notable. Gundam kits from Bandai behave differently, with frequent small markdowns across grades.

• Edition. Warhammer 40,000 is on its 11th Edition, so core rules, boxed sets and Kill Team items tied to older editions can drop in price as stock clears.
• Box contents. A battalion box that includes several squads and a rulebook beats buying kits separately only if you want everything inside it.
• Grade and scale. Bandai sells HG, RG and MG kits at different scales. An MG 1/100 Unicorn is a bigger build than an HG 1/144, so comparing prices across grades is misleading.
• Tools and paint. Kits are not painted or assembled out of the box. Budget for nippers, glue and paint.

Collectors also watch for reprints. Games Workshop retires and re-releases box sets on its own schedule, so a discounted older box may be the last of the stock. Bandai kits are re-released regularly, which means a missing kit is rarely gone for good, but popular ones can carry a markup from third-party sellers. Prefer listings sold or fulfilled by Amazon.

Which Warhammer And Model Kit Should You Buy?

Pick based on whether you want a game, a display piece or an easy first build.

If you are new to the hobby, an HG Gundam is a gentler start than a Warhammer army, since it needs only nippers and no paint.

Think about the whole cost. A Warhammer force needs paint, brushes and glue, and a Gundam kit looks much better with panel line markers and a matte top coat. Neither hobby is expensive to start small, but the extras add up. A single squad or one HG kit is a low-risk way to find out whether you enjoy the building and painting before buying more.

When Do Warhammer And Model Kit Deals Drop?

Black Friday 2026 arrives on Friday, November 27, with Cyber Monday on Monday, November 30. Amazon has not announced its 2026 Black Friday Week dates. Last year's ran November 20 to December 1, starting at 12:01 a.m. PT.

Warhammer markdowns are usually smaller and scarcer than on generic toys, so a visible discount on a Games Workshop item is worth grabbing if you planned to buy anyway. Bandai kits tend to move in waves. Early deals are live on Amazon now, and Amazon will not price-match any other retailer.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does Games Workshop discount Warhammer on Amazon?

Occasionally on certain items, though discounts are smaller and rarer than for most toys. Watch the grid for live prices.

Are Gundam kits good for beginners?

Yes, especially HG grade kits, which snap together without glue.

Do I need paint for these kits?

Warhammer miniatures need assembly and paint to look finished. Gundam kits are pre-colored in plastic, though panel lines and top coats are optional.

Is the 11th Edition rulebook worth buying early?

If you play 40K, yes. Rules for older editions will not match current games.
